When Does a Teenager Need to See a Doctor?

Pediatrician's advice 12-15
The answer is simple: whenever it is necessary.

It is clear if a child is ill or something is bothering them. It is essential to undergo preventive medical check-ups provided for teenagers once a year. If another problem arises, perhaps the child feels uncomfortable talking to you (the parents) about specific topics, let them know that many issues can be discussed with the doctor. We will not judge; we will help and explain as it is. Teenagers often come to me with questions about sexual life (how to protect themselves and so on), and such awareness is only encouraging!
