What tests should be done to monitor a child's health?

Pediatrician's advice 3-5
If there are no concerns and the child is eating well, gaining weight, being energetic, active, and happy, routine tests are unnecessary. According to Order 514n (on preventive examinations for children), a complete blood count and a urinalysis are required at age 3. This is usually sufficient. Blood sampling can cause fear in a child, and it is not worth causing negative emotions unnecessarily.
